So for the last like 5 or 6 nights our smoke alarm has been chirping at us. At first we thought it was the real alarm, but then realized it was probably the battery. Of course the little chirping only happens in the middle of the night. You think after several nights of this chirping going on we would have fixed the problem, but during the day I forget about it and in order to get to the alarm we would need a VERY TALL ladder, which we don't have. Needless to say today we will get it fixed!

that's funny, a good way to remember to get new batteries is conference weekend, every 6 months.
Are you sure it wasn't the Ghost of Christmas Annoyance? You know, the one that causes all the stress and the long lines at stores?
Well you can just be like dad and throw it in the garbage outside. That always fixes the problem.
We have a very tall ladder if you need to borrow one...but it would have to lean against a wall.
I hope you guys were able to change the batteries. They must all plan to go out at night. :) Merry Christmas!
